The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has described the sudden death of the former Council Chairman of the Polytechnic, Rt. Hon. Yahaya Ahmad Yinusa (Bulldozer) as a massive loss to Tsaragi Community, the State and the Country at large. The Rector in a condolence message, described the late Hon. Yinusa as a grass root politician and an asset known for his contributions to the development of his community and the state in general.   The attention of the Kwara State Polytechnic authority has been drawn to a malicious story tagged *"Kwarapoly: Mass Communication Students in Dismay over Non-Accreditation, exempted from NYSC mobilisation"* in which one writer (Comrade Yūusuf Baraje) alleged non- accreditation of HND Mass Communication programme by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Polytechnic authority is hereby calling on members of the public to disregard the misleading story aimed at dragging the  good name of the 50 year old institution to the mud. It is pertinent to state clearly that, all the programmes running at the institution are fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Kwara State Government has flagged off the National Immunisation Plus Days (NIPDs) campaign in a continued pursuit of the drive aimed at strengthening the immunity of the children and sustaining the protective mechanism against the incidence of polio disease in the state.
