  The attention of the Kwara State Polytechnic authority has been drawn to a malicious story tagged *"Kwarapoly: Mass Communication Students in Dismay over Non-Accreditation, exempted from NYSC mobilisation"* in which one writer (Comrade YΕ«usuf Baraje) alleged non- accreditation of HND Mass Communication programme by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Polytechnic authority is hereby calling on members of the public to disregard the misleading story aimed at dragging the  good name of the 50 year old institution to the mud. It is pertinent to state clearly that, all the programmes running at the institution are fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
